Southern Utah Yorkies is located in beautiful Southern Utah, about 30 minutes from the beautiful Zion’s National Park. Lindsey and her husband Matt got their first dog about 10 years ago. We started learning everything we could about breeding, temperaments, pedigree’s, AKC standards etc. and purchased our first little male, he was a toy poodle. We were hooked after we saw what joy he brought into our lives. We started breeding toy poodles and then became interested in the Yorkshire terrier. I got my first Yorkie about 4 years later and absolutely feel in love with the
breed. I love how the Yorkshire terrier is so sure of themselves and carry their attitude about them. I love everything about the Yorkie breed, and about 6 years ago went to breeding Yorkshire Terriers exclusively. We enjoyed raising the Yorkshire Terriers so much, that we slowly started adding to our family, 4 legs at a time. Our newest members are the beautiful Parti Yorkies. I feel their coat and color is just breath taking and irresistible. Our children love to name the yorkie babies and take turns holding them. Our yorkies live in our home as part of our family. We have a large yard where the dogs like to run and play. During the summer time they enjoy sitting along side the pool catching some rays and watching the children swim. The kids like to show off the little fur babies to their friends who also think of our adult dogs as little puppies. Most of them can’t believe how small the Yorkshire terrier actually is, especially compared to their pets. There is never a shortage of children to help socialize the new pups and get them accustomed to people and new places. My yorkies are bred for health, beauty, and temperament. I am a stay at home mom which allows me to take care of each of our yorkie babies 24/7. We also have 3 wonderful children ranging from 1 year up to 7 years old. New puppies are so exciting to the kids and they help me out a lot with them. The boys love to take the adult
dogs on walks through the neighborhood and show them off to their friends.
